Falkenbach是由Vratyas Vakyas一人组织的单人乐队。1989年他开始了自己的音乐创作。1991年到1993年，他曾经在一个叫做Crimson Gates的乐队担任结他手，参与该乐队演出，并灌制过两盘Demo。自从他离开这个乐队以后，这个乐队基本上就停止了自己的音乐旅程。1996年发表第一张大碟《...En Their Medh Riki Fara...》。风格混合了Black Metal 与Viking Metal。

1998年发表《...Magni Blandinn ok Megintiri...》之后，经过长久的沉寂。2003在Napalm唱片公司发行《Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty》。并传出消息，2003年5月 Vratyas在德国Dusseldorf成立了自己音乐公司Skaldic Art Productions，专门发行Viking / heathen metal。

Falkenbach的音乐以民谣神话传说为题材，渲染了异教天然的壮烈景象。Falkenbach的旋律舒缓、深远、优美而冗长，却**感十足。并不花哨的RIFF总是一泻千里，通篇的感觉似一只巨大的海盗船乘风破浪勇往直前，带给人不可抗拒的力量。此外民间乐器(如笛子)的使用更是突出了音乐的亮丽清颖，让人想起古时的英雄侠客在阳光下决斗的场景~~
